LATMOS'UN - HERAKLEİA: Latmos Herakleia, şehrin tarihinin orijinal adı, 1375 m yüksekliğindeki Mount Latmos eteklerinde bir liman inşa edilmiş bir şehir oldu. Herakleia ekonomisi tarım, balıkçılık ve deniz ticaret bağlıydı.
