Royal Heights Mandalya Bay Bodrum

Destined to be one our most sought after resorts, the Royal Heights complex comprises 16 semi-detached, 10 detached villas and 157 properties ranging from one-bedroom apartments to 2-bed spacious penthouses, many of them with large terraces with views over the Aegean Sea to Mandalya Bay, now more commonly known as the Gulf of Gulluk.

royal_heights_apartmentFeaturing luxury finishes from the granite worktops in the kitchen to high quality marble exterior staircases, Royal Heights boasts some of the best specified apartments and villas on the Bodrum peninsula. These features together with their ideal location will appeal to even the most discerning clients.

Opened in early 2010, the resort is located near to the charming traditional fishing village of Bagazici, with its fine shore located restaurants and is just five minutes from the 18-hole (soon to be 36-hole) golf course at Vita Park Golf Resort.

Close by you also have the lovely harbour areas of Gulluk and Guvercinlik, both offering wonderful dining in relaxed surroundings, and of course Bodrum Town with its bustling shops, harbour and port.

One key factor in the popularity of Royal Heights is that, like its sistrr resorts, it shares common amenities and facilities with the popular Flamingo Country Club as well as with Turquoise and Lakeside Garden holiday complexes. The choice is endless with over 30 pools to choose from, four clubhouses, golf, tennis, suanas, Turkish baths, water slides and so much more.

Another factor in its favour is that close by you also have a number of local beaches, most offering amenities including sunbeds, parasols, snacks and drinks. These including of course the private beach club and beach at the foot of the Royal Heights. You can reach the beaches by shuttle bus, car, or as in the case of the beach club on Royal Heights, by mono-rail. There are also some lovely cafe-bars close by with stunning panoramic views of the Aegean Sea.

As with all our other rental properties, Royal Heights will undoubtadly become a firm favourite with families, couples, friends sharing, golfers and nature lovers looking to explore the wonderful surrounds and the Tuzla lake area itself.

I think that this year the resort will be "the place to go" outside of Bodrum Town. We were concerned when we booked last year as it was the first year but in July it was nice and busy and the beach area together with the resort clubhouse and pools was spot on for relaxation. A couple of people we met were concerned about the location - it's about 35 mns from Bodrum but the local dolmus runs regularly plus you can get some great car hire deals. We booked the apartment and car hire through Dave at IdealWorld Bodrum - and it all worked out really well. We have just re booked an apartment - again through Dave and car hire was just £26 / day in August fully comp delivered to our apartment. We can't wait to go back, we had such a great time last year.

Couldn't agree more. We only visited the resort while staying in Gulluk and we thought it was great! The music from the beach club may be a but much for some but you can't fault the stunning views or the facilities at the resort or beach club. We loved it so much we have already booked for 2011.

Great resort - new and purpose built in 2009/10. We stayed in Oyster block - fab sea views in August 2010. The apartment was superb, good size, comfortable and practical. The kitchen had everything we needed for a selfcatering holiday although we ate out a lot so I recommend a car to get around. There ar esome great restaurants in Guversinlik, Gulluk and Bogazici as well as in the resorts around Royal Heights. These were all open to us. The views from Royal Heights properties are amazing and the clubhouse with it's infinity pool is a great way to waste a day. The beach area is man-made, no problem though and the pontoon bangs out some wicked music. If you like it quieter choose Flamingo or Turquoise resorts, Royal Heights is a banging beach location and a lot of fun. This was the resorts first year so there were a few nigly issues but nothing to stop us having fun. I would defo consider booking again in 2011.
